summer holiday – hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that you are all enjoying the well-deserved break after the demanding and quite tedious indeed exam period.

So just to recap what has happened in the last few weeks – everybody started to freak out as they realized that the Easter break had nearly ended, meaning that exams were coming. Then, people invaded the library, and I really mean it, it was impossible to find a computer in the main library unless you were determined enough to wake up at 6, so that you arrive at the library at 7 in the morning. Desks, other quiet areas, and computer labs were also very crowded. Thus, if you are one of the students /like me/ who enjoys sleeping till 9-10 and arrives in the library at about 11am, you would surely be convinced that finding a place to sit was a mission impossible.

Still, I quite like that since it reminds me that I need to work quite hard, especially when second-year students /like me/ try to get good marks to get into Honors.

After that, exams!!! Personally, I had a pretty busy week at the beginning of May, since the Registry scheduled all of my exams in one week.

And then, the summer break people have been longing for almost an year!

Now I hope that everybody did very well in the exams and is happy with the results they got!!!

What is quite striking to me is the drastic difference  in the atmosphere at the library. I went there the other day and it seemed to me as if that was a different building. There were only a few, I reckon, postgraduate students working on their dissertations. But that was all. At least, finding an available computer has never been easier.

Even though most of the people have left, it is very nice that the gym is working, and to my biggest surprise most of the classes are still on.
